MY JOURNEY

Hi! My name is Eliza! I’m a wife, a dog Mumma and a lover of nature.

I’ve loved makeup ever since I can remember. By the age of about 16, I knew that my dream job in life was to be a makeup artist. I know this amount of career passion doesn’t come to most people so early in life, so for that I’m extremely grateful. 

My first year out of school, I worked full time and saved up all my pennies so that I could get my Diploma of Makeup Services at the Academy of Makeup in Brisbane City. Just after I graduated, I was lucky enough to score my (then) dream job at MAC. 

I worked at MAC for 4 years across multiple stores both here in Australia and Canada.

Living in one of the most beautiful destination wedding locations in Canada, I naturally found myself picking up freelance wedding bookings. At the time I had absolutely no experience in the wedding industry, but I very quickly fell in love with everything about it!

By the time I moved back home, full-time freelance was the new goal! Three years on, I've now built my little business into something I'm very proud of.

After dabbling in many areas of the industry over the past few years, such as film, photography, SFX, formals, I'm now mainly focusing on bridal work. As having experience in these different areas of makeup, I can now tell the wedding industry is where my passion truely lyes.

Each year I get so excited to see my little business grow. I have so many things this year that I’m looking forward to but something very high up on my list is doing YOUR makeup!
